PRAYER
Matthew 6:9-13 (NKJV) 9
In this manner, therefore, we pray:
“Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11Give us this day our daily bread.
12And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
Another example of prayer:
Father, thank you for another day and a new beginning. Thank you that your mercies are new every morning. I come to you in the name of Jesus, asking forgiveness for my failures and for a pure heart acceptable to you. My eyes are on you, I seek you first, I trust you, I rejoice in you, I praise and delight myself in you, you are the fulfillment of my heart. Please keep me in your presence, will and empowered with your strength so I am equipped for the challenges of this day. Please take away any anxiety and replace it with your love and peace. May I hear your voice and obey. I commit and trust my plans to you so you can mold them and me to become agreeable to your will, your way, in your time. As a steward I will focus on doing what my responsibility is, while always in reliance on you listening for your voice knowing you can change my path. I will not worry about tomorrow but live one day at a time casting all my cares on you. In “All Things” In conflict or harmony I give thanks and release the outcome to your control knowing you will work it out for my good. I let go of expectations and will allow this day, a person, project, experience, to develop into what it can become. I will live life to the full now in the present moment with a thankful heart. May I be a good Steward, bear the Fruit of the Spirit and glorify you.
